With the Super Bowl a day away and the Avalanche game ending right as the show began and this being the milestone 200th episode of VSR and the show being set to take on Star Wars and it being Groundhogs Day...it is safe to say that there might have a bit too much going on for this edition of Vertically Striped Radio.
Still, the boys did their best to take it all in as we broke down the Super Bowl match-up "scientifically" to determine which team people should be rooting for in the match-up of the Ravens and 49ers.
The San Francisco logo for a day from February 1991.
The announcement of the 49er new logo which was overturned a day later.
The Ravens logo for their first three years, stolen from a fan.
The logo concept created by Fred Bouchat which was stolen from almost directly by the club.
In the second hour of the show, the He-Man Movie Watchers Club discussed the documentary "The People vs. George Lucas" and let our inner Star Wars Geek play a little as we discussed the good and the bad of George Lucas as he relates to the Star Wars world and the philosophical question of Who does art truly belong to? We wrapped up with a musical recommendation from Cat Stevens of "If you want to sing out, sing out"
