The show was postponed an hour due to the Avalanche-Kings game, and it probably should have just been cancelled. We'll keep this one in the feed for the historical record, but we won't be sending it to the Fake Radio Hall of Fame. Lets just say that it seems appropriate that we discussed Titanic II on this episode.

Vertically Striped Radio - Episode 202 - 02-16-13 - Noble Norwegian Television
On this episode of VSR the gang "celebrates" Valentines Day, takes a look at American holiday spending, introduces a new segment called "Face vs The News" and counts down the Magnificent Seven Things that ALMOST everyone likes. We even wrap with a recommendation from a band you might have heard of before...some group called The Beatles with When I'm Sixty-Four.

Vertically Striped Radio - Episode 201 - 02-09-13 - The Battle of God
Despite football being about as far away as it can be, Craig was in a good mood thanks to impending minor league hockey. He was joined by Face and The Whale and the boys discussed topics as random as a man and his mother open mouth kissing in prison (to smuggle drugs, naturally), the Super Bowl power outage, people named Rambo vs. people named Funk, the viability of coffins as toys, Joe Theismann's unfortunate Twitter luck, and the etymological history of the word sugar.
Yup, it was a odd show centered around the Magnificent Seven top weird things about Super Bowl 47 and a brand new edition of "Something to Think About". The musical recommendation this week was "I Know" from Dear and the Headlights.

Vertically Striped Radio - Episode 200 - 02-02-13 - Urban Chickens
With the Super Bowl a day away and the Avalanche game ending right as the show began and this being the milestone 200th episode of VSR and the show being set to take on Star Wars and it being Groundhogs Day...it is safe to say that there might have a bit too much going on for this edition of Vertically Striped Radio.
Still, the boys did their best to take it all in as we broke down the Super Bowl match-up "scientifically" to determine which team people should be rooting for in the match-up of the Ravens and 49ers.
The San Francisco logo for a day from February 1991.
The announcement of the 49er new logo which was overturned a day later.
The Ravens logo for their first three years, stolen from a fan.
The logo concept created by Fred Bouchat which was stolen from almost directly by the club.
In the second hour of the show, the He-Man Movie Watchers Club discussed the documentary "The People vs. George Lucas" and let our inner Star Wars Geek play a little as we discussed the good and the bad of George Lucas as he relates to the Star Wars world and the philosophical question of Who does art truly belong to? We wrapped up with a musical recommendation from Cat Stevens of "If you want to sing out, sing out"
